• Pawtucket shut out Lehigh Valley 2-0 behind another stellar performance by Michael Bowden. Bowden tossed 5 shutout innings allowing 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 7. Daniel Bard picked up his 3 save of the year striking out 2 in his 1 inning of work.
• Portland's game vs. new Britain was rained out. No make up date has been announced
• Salem's game against Wilmington was also washed out.
• Greenville beat Greensboro 2-0. Stolmy Pimentel picked up his first win of the year tossing 5 shutout innings allowing just 5 hits and 5 strikeouts. Shortstop Oscar Tejeda went 3-4 with a double and a triple. Mitch Denning went 2-4 with an rbi in the win.

• Pawtucket beat Lehigh Valley 5-2 yesterday. Sloppy play by Lehigh, 3 errors and a combined 9 walks by pitchers contributed to the PawSox win.
• Portland  defeated Binghamton 12-4 using 18 hits to slug their way to victory. Josh Reddick continued his hot start going 2-5 with 2 runs scored. Lars Anderson went 4-6 with a double and Jorge Jimenez went 4-5 including a 3-run homer. Felix Doubront got the win allowing 5 hits and 2 runs in 5 innings of work.
• Salem won 7-4 over Frederick. First baseman Michael Jones went 3-3 with a homerun. Zak Farkes hit a 3-run blast with 2 outs, part of a 5 run 8th inning for Salem.
• Greenville fell to Greensboro 4-3 yesterday. Anthony Rizzo collected 2 doubles and 1 run in the losing effort.

• Pawtucket used 3 pitchers to shutout Rochester 1-0 yesterday. Left-hander Kris Johnson got the start going 5 innings giving up just 2 hits while striking out 3. 
• Portland fell to Binghamton 4-3. Super prospect Lars Anderson broke out of his slow start going 2-4 with 2 doubles in the losing effort.
• Salem lost both games of a double header to Potomac 8-2 and 5-1. Jason Place had 3 hits and knocked in both runs in game 1. The bats were once again quiet in game 2. Josh Papelbon, younger brother of Boston's closer, took the loss giving up 4 runs on 3 hits in the final 2 inninigs.
• Greenville beat Hickory 4-3. Bryan Price started the game scattering 2 hits over 5 scoreless innings. Catcher Tim Federowicz went 2-4 with a double.

• Pawtucket won 4-2 last night against Rochester. Sox phenom Michael Bowden got the start throwing 4 innings allowing just 1 run while striking out 3. Daniel Bard picked up his 2nd save of the year throwing the final 2 innings without allowing a hit.
  
• Portland dropped a game to New Britain 6-3. Josh Reddick went 2-4 with a double. Lars Anderson went 0-4, dropping his average to .207 on the young season.
• Salem cruised to a 12-4 win yesterday over Potomac. Ryan Kalish went 2-3 with a homer, 2 rbi, and 4 runs scored. Jason Place went 3-5 with a double, 2 rbi, and 3 runs scored. Louis Exposito went 2-5 with 3 rbi as well.
• Greenville lost 8-0 to Hickory yesterday. The line bright spot was Michael Almanzar, a promising third baseman, went 2-4 with a double.

• Pawtucket lost 6-5 to Rochester despite 2 homeruns from Jeff Bailey
  
• Portland defeated New Britain 4-3 behind a solid start from Junichi Tazawa. Tazawa picked up his first win of the year throwing 6 innings and allowing only 1 run. Josh Reddick hit his first homerun of the season in the win.
• Salem's game versus Potomac was postponed due to rain.
• Greenvile outlasted Hickory 2-1 in 15 innings last night. Brock Huntzinger started the game  going 5 innings allowing only 1 run. The bullpen threw 10 scoreless innings and allowed only 1 hit to earn the victory.

• PawSox lost 5-3 to Rochester 
  
• Portland beat New Britain 10-6. Catcher prospect Mark Wagner belted his first homerun of the season
• Salem lost 8-6 to Potomac. Outfield prospect Ryan Kalish went 1-2 with 3 walks and 2 runs scored.
• Greenville won 5-4 over Hickory. Reliever Mitchell Harold threw 2 shutout innings without allowing a hit and striking out 4 to pick up the win.
